"I'm not ruling anything out, but I'm not standing here launching any campaign," Cooper told journalists when she was grilled on her own political ambitions. Cooper, speaking at the CER, also called for the creation of a National Commission on Immigration, which would attempt to build a consensus on the issue.

The only clip I’ve seen on the news features a passage criticising Jeremy Corbyn, but it will be a shame if that is the only passage that gets picked up because the speech was very good. It is probably the most thoughtful response to the referendum I’ve heard yet from a British politician.
