Has the UK passed the point of no return?
"The Juncker affair makes a British exit more likely. Cameron's strategy for keeping the UK in the EU supposes that he can negotiate a new deal and then persuade the British to vote for staying in a reformed EU. But he can only achieve change if other countries are prepared to help, and the Juncker affair shows that he has few allies. His uncompromising stance and Eurosceptic rhetoric have alienated many of the leaders whose help he will need. They have also excited Eurosceptic passions among Conservatives, which may spur Cameron to ask for bigger changes than he can possibly achieve."
